Whether you are on the city council or work for a foundation who has taken initiative in a community or neighborhood, it’s important to maintain and care for the community. Measuring the impacts are just as important and can be done effective with a foundation measurement tool. Neighborhoods that are well-kept and cared for can help everyone living there feel safer and more comfortable. If you are looking for ways to increase the security of a community, here are a few things that should be on your checklist.
1. Check The Fire Hydrants
In the case of a fire, the community needs to be prepared. A hydrant flow test is a way to measure the pressure in the water system. A professional service can come perform the test and check the results. This should be done every few years and is needed to service a new building.
2. Keep Public Areas Litter-Free
No one likes seeing litter, especially when it is bad for the environment. Plastic bags, soda pop cans and other trash is often left in the gutters and grass of public spaces. Put a stop to this by putting up more trash cans or enforcing litter rules.
3. Offer Events and Activities
